8/2/2019 Nvidia Not Showing Up In System Tray
I'm running Windows XP Home SP2, 3.0 GHz w/HT, 1 GB ram, 80GB Hdd. Out of the blue my Nvidia tray icon for the Geforce FX5200 stops appearing when I boot my computer. All the functions work fine, but I cannot figure out why the icon does not appear anymore. I have checked the task manager and I still see nvsvc32.exe under processes. I go to MSconfig and under 'Services' 'NVIDIA Display Driver Support Provider' is checked. Under the startup tab in MSCONFIG, NvCPL, nwiz, and NvMcTray are all still checked. I have gone through all the NVIDIA settings and cannot find away to 're-enable' this if thats the problem. I am an experienced computer user and am suprised that this is so hard to find. It must be something simple I am overlooking. Windows 7 password reset usb download free. Thank you very much for your help.

Nvidia Not Showing Up
I have been noticing a strange problem with my Win 7 64bit. It does not happen every day, maybe once a week or so.
When I boot up the system and the desktop loads, I noticed that all (6 ) of my security (AVG, ZA, SpyBot etc.) program icons in the system tray notification area (next to the clock) don't load. (Program tray .exe files are not being loaded on start-up) I get the network, power, volume icons but nothing else. I should see 6 icons for my security and other start up programs I have loaded, but they don't show. I have to reboot the system three or four times before the tray icons will show. I also have to do a defrag to fix the problem as well. The system works fine otherwise. The security programs run fine when they are loaded, so they are not the problem. Like I said, the problem of 'missing system tray icons' only happens once a week or so. YES I DO have tray notification set to ON. (That is the first place I looked) So that is not the problem. I tried logging off and back on as administrator. Did not work. I recently upgraded geforce experience to version 3.9.1.61 and updated to the latest drivers 385.41 and noticed I don't have the NVIDIA control panel anymore, I can't search for it and geforce experience no longer appears in my taskbar. I used to open the control panel by right-clicking Geforce Experience in the taskbar and going to the control panel tab but the NVIDIA control panel has completely disappeared from my PC. I've tried going back to older versions of the drivers and geforce experience and it isn't fixing the issue.
